About this garden

The story

This border design seeks to foster self-connection through self-reflection and calm. The planting and water feature have been selected to promote a tranquil setting where one can reflect and enjoy a moment of peace. The planting scheme is inspired by a mediterranean meadow, with focal points that revolve around two varieties of Iris germanica, which have been chosen for their structural beauty and scent. The surrounding perennials add movement and lightness, and are pollinator friendly to support the local ecosystem. The color palette consciously uses cool blues and whites to evoke wholeness and serenity to aid relaxation.
