This border reflects my journey as a garden designer and a mum, shaped by renewal and self-discovery after breast cancer, aged 37. Fast forward 15 years, and this space celebrates looking forward with hope, quiet confidence, and a deep connection with nature. During this time, I benefitted hugely as an outpatient at Oakhaven Hospice, which supported my wellbeing. Handcrafted willow structures, made by me, are paired with a stainless steel fish sculpture, crafted by the renowned local artist Michael Turner. Originally donated for my Oakhaven fundraising event in 2012, I am delighted to incorporate our "Bob" in this border to raise further awareness - completing a "Full Circle" of community, care, and creativity. Locally sourced materials and stock symbolise nourishment, resilience, and sustainability. "Making Every Moment Matter".
