About this garden
The story
Match Point explores how a tennis court and clubhouse can be a subtle and beautiful addition to a garden without compromising the landscape’s flora and fauna. A blend of tranquil and energetic, the design aims to harmonise sports dynamics with calming aesthetics.
A monographic clubhouse allows the green, purple and white planting to take centre stage both inside and outside. Vibrant purple plants inspire energy, while airy and light plants gently rustle to create a calm space in which to disconnect from the pressures of life.
The clubhouse’s bold black exterior elevates the planting, yet is virtually invisible from a distance. The minimalistic, light interior provides an airy, welcoming space.
