With wildlife damage to crops becoming increasingly serious, how should we interact with nature?
This garden is themed around the "boundary" that gently separates humans from nature.
Instead of completely enclosing the area with a fence, we gently protect it by utilizing the power of nature, such as the scent and texture of plants, and the fluctuating sounds and light.
We aimed to create a forest-like space that is pleasant for people, while conveying to the deer that "this is not a feeding ground." This includes trees that block the view, open lawns filled with fragrance, and a secluded nursery area.
As you enjoy strolling around, your relationship with the environment will gradually change.
Not exclusion, but a gentle sense of distance.
You can visit, but there are measures in place to prevent you from eating.
And a generous spirit that allows them to overlook minor issues.
This is a boundary garden where people and nature continue to coexist, accepting fluctuations and changes along the way.
