The space draws on the designer's own experience as a beekeeper and offers a pastoral paradise where a combination of natural materials, layered planting and architectural features come together to create an ideal setting for artisans and bee enthusiasts alike. Traditional crafts are embraced as sustainable building methods, from wicker weaving, to thatching and hedge laying - a long-standing tradition in the Cotswolds.
With its beehive, pergola, water feature and oast house made from breathable materials, this garden forms an interwoven mesh of activity that feeds into a regenerative, sustainable cycle, inspiring anyone seeking to support invertebrates.
