Feasting and foraging is encouraged in this biodiverse living larder overflowing with easy-to-grow plants that look good in the garden as well as on the kitchen table. Showcasing a seasonal celebration of midsummer, this Beautiful Border features edible herbs, pollinator-friendly plants and fruit trees. Intended as part of a wider project for Cypress Primary School in South London, a borough where 40% of primary school pupils don’t have access to a private garden, the space encourages all generations of the community to connect and share their love of gardening and food.
