Finding Me

About this garden

The story

This garden reflects a journey beyond motherhood - rediscovering identity through gardening. Inspired by years of nurturing others, it represents growth, self-discovery and renewal, showing how reconnecting with nature can help us find ourselves again.

Becoming a mother to new born's who need our undivided attention 24/7, being a mummy of toddlers who need a hand to hold and arms to feel safe in. To being a school mum, parties every weekend, friends round for tea and afterschool activities & hobbies.
Years of busy mum duties, becomes years of forgetting who we are, because we're now mum. We become our children and then one day they're all grown up and off doing their own thing.
People don't talk about the emptiness you feel when your children grow into young adults. You spend their life not ever wanting to live without them, while they grow to learn to live not needing you like they once did.

But who are we now?
This is my story of finding who I am, through my hobby and love of gardening and remembering I'm not just mum, I'm Stacey.
