Following In My Footsteps

The 'Following In My Footsteps' garden celebrates education through shared experiences and promotes having a deep connection with nature whether young or old. Having grown up following in my grandparents gardening footsteps, I wanted to design a space that allows my children opportunities to play whilst still feeling like my own little haven. Areas such as the mud kitchen, sensory path, Jurassic jungle and the weaving seat provide spots for exploration and adventure. The border is a space to learn in and grow together but will immerse children in independent play long enough to get some weeding done!
