My goal was to create a sense of ease and possibility. The path provides an active, unimposing space fit for a relaxed picnic picking berries with a friend, space to roll out a yoga mat or allowing the moon gate to guide the viewer to what may lie beyond the gate. I imagine painting the framed landscape with my dog lying sunbathing at my feet, plants on either side maintaining privacy.
The beauty is in the versatility, whether you choose to share the space with the landscape, the wildlife or even your sense of adventure.
