Dismantled cable drums have been creatively repurposed to form a pathway, guiding you over the garden pond towards a woven willow structure. Handcrafted by students, the structure creates a cocoon-like setting for an informal social seating area. Wind-felled Merrist Wood timber has been cut into stumps, providing sustainable seating. The natural, earthy tones of these features contrast beautifully with the vibrant seasonal hues of the spring planting. The soft landscaping also incorporates habitats to support biodiversity, alongside perennial herbs that reflect Merrist Wood's heritage.
