About this garden

The story

Thanks to recent investigations by the UK Health Security Agency, we are better able to anticipate the growing intensity of certain health conditions linked to climate change. With each plant selected for its clinical efficacy in treating these ailments, the border is conceived as an herbal dispensary for the near future.

The tradition of medieval physic gardens informs the design. However, these influences are reinterpreted through a more contemporary lens, with a looser planting style and species that thrive in erratic weather patterns.
