Living Connections

This border is inspired by Whispering Trees Community Interest Company which supports adults and children to reduce stress and anxiety through a range of activities, connecting them with nature and those around them. Living Connections represents the beautiful, intricate interdependence between humans, plants and wildlife within a woodland habitat. Mature trees filter the air, stabilise the soil, and provide shelter to all that dwell, pass, or grow under their canopy. When the trees fall they decompose, enriching the soil, providing homes, food and egg laying sites for other wildlife. A walker’s boots symbolise our human connection, and influence, on this precious woodland ecosystem.
