Magical Moments
The story
I've created a border inspired by my childhood garden - barefoot grass, flowers, bugs - and my current gardening. It's a space for both kids and adults to connect with nature, enjoy plants, and rediscover the magic of being outdoors.
As a child I spent hours in the garden, making fairy dresses out of petals, having a picnic or watching the bugs and the butterflies. The feeling of walking on grass barefoot and the smell of beautiful flowers was grounding. Everything was magical.
I have created a border mixing elements from my childhood garden experiences and bringing new plants which I garden with now to create a space which both child me and adult me would love to spend time in connecting with nature and tending to.
I hope this border excites children about gardening and appreciating the plants in it, whilst reminding adults how magical and enjoyable being outside is.
