This border is an inland beach.
The planting uses inland plants which evoke a sense of being near water, in predominantly blues and greens, with pops of complimentary orange, to add depth and dimension.
The border is arranged on geometric intersections of squares to provide structure to the design. A sine wave flows through the space, adding movement and flow as seen on the surface of a large body of water.
The space allows exploration among the biodiversity and flowing stream as well as relaxation. A ceramic pebble and driftwood feature has been created by a community group and is a space to share the experience of exhibiting as well as a space to share the moment.
