About this garden

The story

The Inspiration for my garden is to spread the word, “it’s good to talk”. In a world full of technology and faceless interactions with people, finding the time to sit and meet with others and take a moment to digitally detox and enjoy the beauty of nature is important to us all. The winding gravel path in my design encourages you to slow down the pace and to take in with your eyes the soft colour palette of perennial planting as you watch insects busy collecting their nectar and, as you step through the moon gate you leave your busy life behind to sit a while with a friend and relax screened from the world by trees. The reflective water bowl focuses the mind to think about the important things in life, health, happiness, friendships, and family and appreciate how much they mean to us.
