About this garden

The story

Drawing inspiration from the Superbloom events in the Americas, South Africa, Australia and the Mediterranean, this colourful dry border connects the visitor with an array of annuals and perennials from these regions. Some plants you'll recognise, some you won't. The setting is sand and gravel, reminiscent of the Sussex coastline where the designer lives, and the floral sand beds, where she is a WRAGS trainee. It shows visitors how easy and pocket friendly it is to create impactful flower and foliage combinations that are drought tolerant, drive pollinators crazy and bring interest throughout the year.
