The Body Shop Garden

This conceptual garden narrates a story of environmental and societal renewal, symbolizing a journey from burnout to wellbeing. The garden's design, shaped as a sculpture, is defined by a series of Corten steel arches in varying states of char. These arches divide the space into three planting zones, each representing a stage of regeneration—from a blackened, depleted forest floor to a vibrant, diverse flourish of plant life. The rhythmic sequence of the arches serves as a key feature, symbolizing the passage of time. Inspired by the new generation of changemakers and activists, the garden reflects the stress and challenges they face while tackling global issues such as climate change and social justice. Despite these hardships, the garden carries an uplifting message: by nurturing both ourselves and the environment, we can create a thriving future.
