About this garden

The story

Shortly after graduating from the Inchbald School of Garden Design, Marcus Barnett received his first RHS Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medal in 2005. His self-sponsored garden explored the idea of an outdoor gallery space, combining and urban landscape, architecture and contemporary photography. Featuring works by Patrick Lichfield, the design blurred the boundaries between garden and exhibition space.⁠
