The Grand Appeal Garden invites visitors to embark on a journey of childlike exploration and discovery. Tucked within a serene woodland setting, a rustic cabin offers refuge from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, welcoming families to immerse themselves in the untamed beauty of rural Somerset.
Established paths wind their way through the natural landscape, revealing hidden clearings and tempting adventurers to stray from the fixed routes and uncover the sights within. Minimal hard landscaping has been used in the garden, encouraging visitors to focus on the shade-loving planting, with graceful ferns and delicate blue and white blooms painting a picture of tranquillity and serenity.
This garden is dedicated to The Grand Appeal – the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children’s charity. Designed by a consultant with ties to the hospital, the hope is that this idyllic retreat will not only provide solace for visitors but also serve as a beacon of support for the invaluable work of the charity in aiding children facing serious illnesses and their families.
