About this garden

The story

My Inspiration came from a sculpture by Ukrainian born: Alexander Milov entitled 'Love'.

It depicts two conflicting adults whilst their inner children reach out to connect with the other.

Pride and resentment choke connections between adults causing conflict, yet the inner child within us all simply wants connection through love.

Using shape colour and texture, I have re-imagined this using dark purples, thorny and leathery leaves for resentment and anger, soft feathery grasses, whites and complimentary hues of perennials for peace and harmony and calm using architectural lush ferns.

A dry riverbed of life winds its way through the border.
