The One to Three Border

A space created to cultivate a connection with yourself, others and nature. The border is designed to offer seating for up to three people to pause and reflect, just 1-3 minutes of mindfulness in nature could make all the difference to your mindset. There is a seat for two on one side for shared moments, and a seat for one under the tree for quiet contemplation. A water bowl reflects the sky, and tactile and aromatic plants surround the seating to engage the senses. The planting palette is kept to 1-3 of each species, one tree and a pack of seeds or two, twos of shrubs and threes of perennials and bulbs. Established perennials are divided into two cultivating the flora further. This advocates an idea of ‘easy as 1, 2, 3‘, for visitors to use in their own garden sanctuary, cultivating their connection with nature at home.
