I will use a blend of different pinks to add depth and interest to the borders, use different flower heads to create texture and also attract pollinators. Mixing perennials and annuals together to create a sea of pink, I will also add grasses for softness, alliums for fun and foxgloves to create extra height and screening. My design will be a circular garden with entry points so you can walk through the garden on the soft natural stone and experience different views from within. The garden will be encased using galvanised lawn edging, with a circle central feature in the middle with a teepee of sweet peas and other soft planting as a central point. I also want to show the journey of planting, so I may use some plants in the green and some flowers almost coming to the end of the flowering period to show how the planting journey flows through the seasons, showing the natural progression and growth of the garden. My aim is to show that your favourite colour can be used on mass for you and the pollinators to love and enjoy.
