Our focus is on delivering beautifully designed gardens to customers in an efficient and effective way deploying fundamental garden design principals. We are looking for a qualified Garden Designer to join us on a freelance basis, working remotely to develop thoughtful, high-quality garden designs for our clients. Role Overview As a Freelance Garden Designer, you will work on a project-by-project basis, creating bespoke garden designs aligned to the client brief and site constraints. You will be responsible for concept development, 2D/3D plans, planting plans, and presentation of the concepts and ideas in your design. This role offers flexibility while allowing you to contribute to a variety of exciting design projects. Key Responsibilities - Work remotely to create tailored garden designs based on client briefs. - Conduct virtual site analysis using client-provided information, photos, OSmapping and other online survey information. - Develop concept plans, planting schemes and 3D visuals. - Use Vectorworks, SketchUp or other design software to create professional 2D/3D visuals. - Prepare planting plans, material specifications, and layout drawings. - Communicate design ideas effectively through clear and engaging presentations. - Adapt designs based on client feedback to ensure satisfaction.
