I’m Catherine, an RHS award-winning garden designer based in Buckinghamshire, formerly trading as Botanique Gardens. I create beautiful gardens that feel welcoming, natural and genuinely enjoyable to spend time in — spaces for relaxing, entertaining and everyday family life. Growing up in South Africa shaped my connection to nature and outdoor living, and that influence continues to guide my work today. It gave me an instinctive understanding of how people use outdoor space and how planting can shape the atmosphere and character of a garden. Planting sits at the heart of my work, with a signature style that combines strong evergreen structure and soft, naturalistic planting for year-round colour and interest. My approach is always tailored to each client’s preferences and the character of the property, ensuring the garden integrates seamlessly with its surroundings. Winning a Gold Medal at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2025 for The Room to Breathe Hospital Garden was a proud moment, and reflects creativity, expertise and commitment I bring to every project.
