Beautiful Wild creates immersive sanctuaries for people and wildlife. Gini Denison-Pender left a career as a lawyer when her children were born, and her love of nature led down a new path as a garden and landscape designer. Wildlife is at the heart of her flowing designs, always carefully crafted to meet the needs of clients. In 2022 Gini won a place at the International Garden Festival at Chaumont-sur-Loire for a garden about the importance of protecting insects and wildflowers. The garden showed that beneficial actions within our gardens have a positive effect beyond their boundaries, and a space crafted to protect wildlife naturally becomes a sanctuary for ourselves too. Gini worked with Greenscape Gardens, Louise Thompson and consultant Professor Dave Goulson to create the garden. Gini belongs to the Sustainability Working Group of the Society of Garden Designers with a brief to produce the Society's guidelines on designing for insect, bird and mammal biodiversity, and is a Regional Coordinator for the Society.
