Je Ahn is the Founding Director of Studio Weave and an Architect, who has overseen all projects since Studio Weave’s inception. Je’s portfolio covers all sectors: from civic infrastructure, schools, public realm and place-making strategies; through to large-scale housing schemes. Alongside art and architecture projects, Je has led numerous research projects which have translated his ‘bottom-up’ knowledge into guidelines, frameworks and publications. His work has been recognised nationally and internationally by awards and publications - including AJ 40 under 40 and numerous AJ, Civic Trust and RIBA Awards. Je recently led Studio Weave's 'Lea Bridge Library' and 'Made of Sand' projects to completion, and their 'Hackney Wick housing' to planning approval. Recent publications include: "Living Closer: The many faces of Co-housing" (supported by RIBA), and TfL’s "Small Change, Big Impact".
