Bord Bia Bloom 2025 unfolds from May 29 to June 2 in Dublin’s Phoenix Park, transforming 70 acres into a vibrant celebration of gardening, food, and sustainable living. Now in its 19th year, the festival showcases 21 meticulously designed Show Gardens that address themes ranging from biodiversity and climate resilience to mental health and urban greening. Notable installations include the Repak Most Sorted Garden, emphasizing circular economy principles, and the European Commission’s Renewed Blooms Garden, which repurposes materials to blend nature with human-made elements.
The festival also features the Botanical Hub, offering live demonstrations and hands-on workshops on topics like floral crown making and houseplant care. Visitors can explore the Nursery Village, meet growers, and purchase a wide selection of plants from Irish nurseries.
Culinary enthusiasts can enjoy over 100 artisan food producers in the Food Hall and attend live cooking demonstrations by renowned chefs such as Donal Skehan and Neven Maguire. Families are catered to with the Budding Bloomers Children’s Area, featuring face painting, crafting, and performances from popular children’s entertainers.
