Inspired by the 'blue mind' – a sense of calm from being close to water. It reimagines how the aspects of water can be thoughtfully integrated into small spaces to create a sense of serenity in an urban environment. In the garden, ripple-effect cladding mimics the flow of water, reflecting light in wave-like forms, while a water feature creates soothing sounds beside a reflective pool. Coastal planting offers resilient flora in muted blue and green tones, whilst floor tiles and pots created from discarded seashells from restaurants demonstrate innovative ways to repurpose ocean materials for a sustainable future.
