This is an important year of historical 80th anniversaries, our Reflections Garden is cultivating connections between generations and communities to provide a contemplative, remembrance space. The symmetrical design is marked by pebbles and illustrates that we are reflections of one another, coming together within the central space of the reflection pool. Plants are chosen for their symbolic meaning, to create a hopeful, tranquil space to promote healing. Our triangular planting areas represent unity and the Holy Trinity, connecting our garden to our school. A Silver Birch Memorial Tree is representative of one of the first species to regrow after tragedy – visitors are invited to hang the names of loved ones. The garden is a living expression of a shared hope for a better future for all.
