People are interwoven with nature through gardens and outside spaces. This design shows how small spaces can cultivate connections to nature. The woven willow screening, gabion wall, and bird and insect friendly fencing provide garden boundaries that support wildlife, not cut you off from it.
A mosaic of habitats and dense planting weaves a colourful and beautiful garden with year round interest to people alongside food and shelter for wildlife. The garden features reclaimed materials including a gabion bench to sit and observe the garden visitors, a tiered water feature and a stepping stone path to encourage exploration.
