My border is inspired by the gardens of the Marie Curie hospice in Solihull, where my Mum passed away in 2014.
The garden encouraged the families and loved ones to connect with nature and were so peaceful and comforting. Inside, there was a multi-faith prayer room with a prayer book and pebbles, which I have incorporated into my design.
My border is designed to connect and cultivate the soul with nature, and leave the viewer feeling peaceful.
